Texture for Ali Drafting Table
This one brings back memories of taking a drafting course in high school! I loved my drafting table with the sliding rules for drawing perfect lines and angles! For the office of an artist or engineer, this drafting table set is sophisticated and clever.
The chair is dead simple, sit on it.
As you would expect from Ali, however, the table has several scripted features: touch the lamp to make the bulb glow and make the light come on, touch again to turn off. Touch the table itself to make the table surface cycle through several different pictures. Touch a picture and say (via chat channel) a texture’s UUID to ‘lock’ it to that picture. (You can get a texture/picture’s UUID by right clicking on it in your inventory). Touch it again to ‘unlock’ it. If you put a picture in the table’s inventory it will add it to the ‘rotation’ of the pictures (alphabetical order) that can be displayed.

Old-tyme style coffee stand lets you or your customers rezz and de-rezz a tray of drinks and sweet rolls from which they can take any of the items offered, and the owner decides if that’s allowable as well as determining the texture used for the logo on the canopy of the cart. (Merely click on Edit/Content and drag your own logo in–you can remove the ML logo supplied by dragging it to a folder or deleting it.) Give Starbucks a run for their money!

With this furniture in your office, sunrise won’t be soon enough for you to get seated and to work! The beautifully appointed hand-carved wooden desk is loaded with rezzable items that can give your de
sktop the business: pen holder, blotter, and stapler all rez at a click via a dropdown menu, and can be cleared the same way. Click on the blotter to receive a pen, then open drawers to find a stapler and stacks of papers, or open a door to grab a stack of books. Once you have that pen, sit down at the plush-cushioned matching chair and you’re animated for working at the desk. Use the handle on the chair to adjust your distance from the desk!
Also included with the set: a beautiful matching wood-sculpted map holder, complete with a vintage map for hanging on your wall.
You can add a set of Ali’s Sunrise Sconces to the set to bring light to your office or study, or imbue it with an attitude of prestige with Ali’s Sunrise Humidor. These are sold separately but you can find reference to their online store availability by visiting the links below for the office set. The Scones can be attached to a wall or placed on a table, and by using the Edit/Gener
al tab, change the description to 1 for manual operation, 0 for automatic operation and have the light go on automatically at sunset and off, appropriately enough, at sunrise. The Sunrise Humidor is a beautiful wood grain that matches the desk and opens to reveal cigars and a humidity guage.

I released my latest watch today as an exclusive to members of the update group. The Valve watch is a steam punk inspired watch that displays the time in a plain english, natural language format and is powered by a minature high temperature steam engine. It also changes time zones with a simple touch.

It’s interesting that I’m blogging about two products that could both have this title as a description! (And so I did it!) We’ve been playing around with Sweetness for nearly a month and it’s finally ready for sale: What is Sweetness? Bracelets, Bangles, Bows, and well, the B’s stop there, but you can also get Hair Clips! Ali’s latest musical jewelry box is a pink-and-white delight! It has a dancing ballerina and music and gives out color-changing jewelry (just click touch bows or clips to toggle through a selection of colors). You can’t store anything in it but the supply of jewelry is unlimited! What more could you ask for?
For this and other similar items, visit ‘Ali’ in Chindogu.
Or you can go to SL Exchange or onRez to purchase it online or as a gift to a friend.

I’ve made some changes to the way group sign-ups are managed. Basically before I had a sign, put the group name in the notecards for everything, and crossed my fingers that you all saw it. Some of you did, and that’s great, but I wanted something a little less of a hassle so I invested in a program that would automate group invites so that when you touch the sign you’ll get an invite.
Of course, being a scripter I couldn’t resist taking it a step futher and now when you purchase an item from me in world, through SL Exchange, or through OnRez, you will automatically get a group invite.

I also spent a little bit of time and built a building I had in my head for a little while and couldn’t decide what it was until it hit me that I saw people shopping there so I turned it into a shopping venue. If you have something you want to sell and need a place to get started, or you need a satellite location, come check it out. You can get 100 prims per week for L$150. I’ve set it up so each store has its own little plot, making it extremly customizable with your title, description, music, etc, etc.
See you there.

So while not completely done with my new sim, Chindogu, I’ve decided to put the first group of lots up for sale. I say the first group because I decided to just set 6 plots up for sale, all on the south side of the sim, all 1024 sq. m. and all double prim (468 per 1024, L$ 6498/month); I’ll be making other lots available as they fill up. Every plot (now and future) have road access on at least one side, and some have access to the centralized park. Every renter will also have use of the community facilities in the NE Corner of the sim.
If you want a different plot, let me know I chose these at random and am willing to do different plots. Even if you decide not to rent, stop by and let me know what you think.
Yes, I posted the same thing to my other blogs.

Ali’s new Pavo clock will make you look at time in a different way, quite literally! Extremely modern and elegant lines that nevertheless harken back to the classical appearance of a sundial make this timepiece welcome no matter what your decor. Time is measured by the growth of the center disc and read via the pins sticking out of the timerail, expanding from 12 AM at its smallest radius till another midnight wanes at its largest. The default timezone is “-8″ SLT and can be changed per instructions given when the clock is rezzed. (You Edit the description by replacing “-8″ with the appropriate setting for your desired timezone.)
For this and other similar items, Ali in Chindogu. Or purchase online at SL Exchange or onRez.
